We are forming an organization founded on the belief that Latina/e public health professionals are vital to creating healthier, more equitable communities.

Our mission is threefold:
Learning
We are committed to building a platform for continuous learning and professional development. This will mean providing access to cutting-edge research, best practices, and innovative strategies through workshops, webinars, and shared resources. Our goal is to empower our members to deepen their expertise, stay ahead of emerging trends, and excel in their fields, equipping them with the knowledge needed to tackle complex health challenges effectively.
Collaborating
We are creating a vibrant platform where collaboration is at the heart of our community. By connecting Latina/e professionals across various public health disciplines, we will facilitate the exchange of ideas, foster interdisciplinary partnerships, and build strong professional relationships. We believe that by working together, we can leverage diverse perspectives and collective strengths to address health and workplace inequities and implement impactful solutions.
Advocacy
Our commitment goes beyond individual development to bold advocacy for social justice. We will empower our members to become powerful voices for change, advocating for the policies, practices, and resources that address the unique health needs of Latine communities. We will also champion the advancement of Latina/e professionals for leadership positions in public health, especially in systems that lack representation. Through collective action, we aim to influence decision-makers, raise awareness about critical issues, and champion initiatives that advance health equity for all. We're dedicated to ensuring the perspectives and experiences of Latina/e professionals are heard and valued at every level of public health discourse.
